During the confinement there were innumerable initiatives to make culture accessible despite the restrictions. In particular, the performing arts have developed unusual formats with the help of new digital technologies. At the same time, it became clear what precarious conditions many artists live and work in and how fragile the cultural industry is. How important was culture for people in times of crisis?
