The European Competition Day is the central conference on competition policy to be held during the German Presidency of the Council of the European Union. It is geared towards leading representatives from government, academia, ministries, competition authorities, industry and the legal profession.
The main focus will be on ensuring a level playing field between European companies and state-subsidised and state-controlled companies from third countries, tackling the challenges for competition policy in the context of international crises (such as COVID-19) and shaping the competition framework for the digital economy.
The event will take place in English.
