The availability of open data is a key driver of innovation for the digital transformation of the transport sector and provides the basis for reliable, sustainable and efficient mobility. With this conference, the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure will launch an EU-wide dialogue between stakeholders from government, public authorities and industry and research institutes on data-based mobility innovations. The main focus will be on identifying what kind of innovations can already be implemented in member states using open mobility data and how the availability and provision of multimodal traffic data in Europe can be further enhanced.
