JPI Climate is one of ten Joint Programming Initiatives at European level and has 18 member countries. The aim of this JPI Forum is to update the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda of the intergovernmental JPI Climate Initiative and provide fresh stimulus for cooperation in climate research among member countries. The forum provides a platform for an in-depth exchange between the researchers and stakeholders who generate or use climate knowledge in Europe. The Scoping Forum will examine current developments in policies on climate and the funding of climate change research, covering the Paris Agreement on climate change, the latest IPCC Special Reports, the European Green Deal and Horizon Europe programmes, and will also set a new strategic course for cooperation.
