The agenda of the virtual ECOFIN meeting will include the Presidency programme and a discussion on the current situation of the European economy in light of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as recovery measures and reconstruction plans that are underway.

The convergence reports of the European Commission and the European Central Bank and the final report of the High-Level Forum on the European Capital Market Union will also be discussed.
At 9.40, German Finance Minister Olaf Scholz will held a live doorstep, where he presented political priorities and provided an overview of the meeting agenda.

At 13.15, at the conclusion of the meeting, the finance minister will report on the talks between EU finance ministers and answer questions from the press.
