German Minister of State for Europe Michael Roth gave a statement to the press ahead of the videoconference of EU ministers for European affairs. The first agenda item, a presentation of the priorities of Germany's Presidency of the Council of the EU, was broadcast live.
Minister of State Roth held a live press conference with European Commissioner for Budget and Administration Johannes Hahn at the meeting's conclusion at 17.30.

The General Affairs Council prepares meetings of the European Council and is responsible for a variety of topics, including the MFF, negotiations on the future relationship with the United Kingdom, EU expansion and accession talks, as well as safeguarding the rule of law in the Union.
