IPCEI (Important Projects of Common European Interest) are highly innovative, pan-European co-ordinated industrial production projects which make a very important contribution to the growth, employment and competitiveness of European industry and society due to their positive spill-over effects on the internal market and European society. The dynamism of this instrument is currently very much alive. During its Council Presidency, Germany has worked to increase the transparency and inclusiveness of the IPCEI process. This event is intended to underline this claim and present current developments in IPCEI projects. It will report on already established projects on microelectronics and batteries and present new projects. The highlight of the event is the joint signing of a declaration of intent (“Manifesto”) for the new IPCEI Hydrogen.
