Minister of State for Europe, Michael Roth, represents the Council of the EU in the European Parliament’s plenary meetings during the German Presidency. Due to the pandemic situation, Minister of State Roth is not able to travel to Brussels. He has therefore submitted written statements for the four debates to which he was asked to contribute:

  • Preparation of the European Council meeting of 10-11 December 2020
  • Hungarian interference in the media in Slovenia and North Macedonia
  • Abortion rights in Poland
  • The new LGBTIQ Equality Strategy
