On Monday, 23 November, 2020, the Baden-Württemberg Ministry for Rural Areas and Consumer Protection (MLR), in cooperation with the Europe Direct Information Center Stuttgart and the Department for Agricultural and Food Policy of the University of Hohenheim, will hold an conference of agricultural policy titled “Between food provision, ecology and economy: The future of the European Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) in the area of tension between the Green Deal and the Corona Pandemic” in Stuttgart. The target group are farmers, students, associations, administrations and politically interested citizens. One part of the discussions will focus on the question of how agriculture will change under the new CAP. The other forum will address the question of how sustainability can be successfully established along the entire value chain as is required by the Green Deal.
