As we near the end of the German Presidency of the Council of the European Union, this event will look back on the Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) topics highlighted during the Presidency. It will focus on further enhancing a comprehensive approach to combating terrorism, which was one of the priorities of the Terrorism Working Party (TWP) in recent months. Particular attention will be given to Islamist extremism as well as violent right-wing extremism. Using an interactive conference format, we look forward to engaging in lively discussions about CVE issues and to analysing emerging key issues and strategic approaches.
