The COVID-19 pandemic is showing us just how closely the various dimensions of sustainable development are linked and what cities around the world can and must achieve. The expert conference, which will be held in a digital format, will focus on the efforts of municipalities to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). High-ranking speakers will present ways of making the SDGs part of municipalities' everyday work and of jointly implementing them through partnerships with municipalities from the Global South. In addition to these contributions, there will be a panel of mayors, contributions from experts, and breakout sessions for the presentation of best practices.
