Artificial intillegence (AI) is becoming increasingly present in many areas of our lives. Policymakers at the EU, national and international levels are actively discussing whether and how to advance risk-based regulation of AI to harness its vast potential while at the same time ensuring that people can trust this technology. During this interactive virtual event, we will address how evidence from specific use cases can support policymakers as they devise the regulatory frameworks that will shape the development and use of AI in the years to come. The discussion will be based on the results of a new study by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights, which will be released during the event.
