As part of the “Resilient Europe – fostering an informed and responsible approach to online content” initiative and within the framework of Germany’s Presidency of the Council of the EU, a Europe-wide citizens' dialogue with the motto “We, the Internet” will take place on 10 October. The Internet has fundamentally changed the way we live, work and learn. The Corona crisis has showed us how useful these changes can be. But what happens to your data when you turn off your device? Who will protect you from misinformation? And how can we regulate research and development on artificial intelligence? We believe that it is not only up to politicians and experts to find answers to these questions. On 10 October 2020, we invite citizens to discuss the topics of data protection, misinformation and artificial intelligence and to join us in finding answers to the important questions of our digital future.
