The online conference will present the German Contact Point for Collections from Colonial Contexts and its work to European and international players on the occasion of Germany’s Presidency of the Council of the EU this year. The event enables those concerned to further the networking of experts from Germany, Europe and the nations and societies of origin. The aim is to identify cooperation partners and structures at the European level in order to give individuals and institutions in the nations and societies of origin the opportunity to acquire information about collections and holdings from colonial contexts in Europe.
