A total of 25 universities from all over Europe will be taking part in this year’s European University Film Award. From October to November, university students will discuss five films from different European regions in the “Discuss Film! Live Europe!” event. Subsequently, each university will select its favourite film and designate one student to represent their university and fellow students in a three-day deliberation meeting, which will take place from 8 to 10 December. During the three days, the students will discuss the films, exchange views on European film and ultimately choose the winning film. This year, the discussions will take place online, following a concept specifically designed for the event. The project primarily aims to convey the European idea of networking and mutual understanding.
