With the Generation A=Algorithm project, thirteen residencies in eleven European countries for November 2020 to August 2021 will be offered to aspiring young artists from Europe (EU + the United Kingdom) selected by competition. The residencies will last four weeks each, in affiliation with an institution or start-up operating in the area of AI and algorithm-based systems. To conclude the Generation A= Algorithm project, the artists will be offered a chance to exhibit their works created in the context of their residency. The selection of the scholarship recipients for the artist residency in Latvia will be made by a jury at the beginning of October 2020.
