The conference will be opened by Lithuania’s President Gitanas Nauseda at 9:30 a.m. EET (Eastern European Time), followed by a virtual keynote from Minister of State for Europe, Michael Roth. Then, a panel of Lithuanian political actors will present views about what Lithuania expects Germany’s role to be in the face of European and global challenges – “Germany in the Driver’s Seat?”. Following that, three mixed thematic panels will seek answers to how the “European Green Deal” can be moved forward, how digitization can foster green growth, and what European cultural perspectives about resilience, sustainability, and sovereignty are.

You can follow the conference’s video live stream via the following Youtube channels (in English, Lithuanian and German) and you are kindly invited to participate in the chat (also in English, Lithuanian and German).
