Creative, innovative, diverse – what role do film, culture and media play in our society? This conference organised by Germany’s Creative Europe MEDIA Desk will look at Europe’s future and at how film, television and culture can reinforce a sense of shared European identity in difficult times. Culture and media professionals in a variety of fields, from music and film to artificial intelligence, will address this topic from very different perspectives. Conference participants include Professor Monika Grütters, Germany’s Minister of State for Culture and the Media; Sabine Verheyen, European Parliament; Hildur Guðnadóttir (score composer for “Joker”); Johanna Koljonen (Nostradamus Report); Christian Mio Loclair (Waltz Binaire); Lucía Recalde, European Commission; Susa Pop and Carolin Huder (Connecting Cinemas); Banafshe Hourmazdi and Benjamin Radjaipour (“Futur Drei”).
