Kicking off the Council Presidency, German Minister of State for Europe Michael Roth will present his programme to the Committee on Budgets of the European Parliament (BUDG). On this occasion, he will set out the German Council Presidency’s priorities, especially with regard to the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), as well as the recovery program Next Generation EU (NGEU). He will then answer questions from the members of the EP. The exchange will be held as a video conference. The committee meeting is open to the public and can be watched via livestream or as a recording on the European Parliament’s website.
