The European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) will present the annual Gender Equality Index (GEI) on 29 October 2020. This year, the index will focus on the topic “Digitalisation and Gender Equality”. The event forms part of the European Parliament’s (EP) “Equality Week”, during which the EP focuses on gender equality issues.
Germany’s Presidency of the Council of the EU will be represented at the event by Juliane Seifert, Permanent State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.
