Danish grandmother, French father...and the child has Austrian and German passports. This is how some families experience Europe in their daily lives. At kindergarten and school, many children naturally speak two or more languages and have friends from different European countries. It's about time to take an interest in Europe and ask: What does Europe mean to you? Young reporters from fragFINN e.V. are exploring this and many other questions. For the fragFINN blog (www.finnreporter.de), children aged six to 14 produce videos and articles on topics related to Europe and the EU under the guidance of media educators. The focus here is on the perspective of young EU citizens. In addition to the children’s media productions, finnreporter.de features surveys, recommended links and other child-friendly content on Europe and the EU.
