On 5 October, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy will organise an online conference on ‘Hydrogen in the Energy Sector: Developing an Internal and a Global Market’ as part of Germany’s Presidency agenda.
The conference will be live-streamed between 14:00 and 17:30 hrs.
The online conference is the key event under Germany’s Council Presidency that focuses on the role of hydrogen in the energy sector.
Federal Minister Peter Altmaier will engage in a debate with European guests on how the EU’s Hydrogen Strategy can be implemented and on what steps are immediately necessary to ensure that hydrogen can play an important role in decarbonisation.
Given the current state of the pandemic, the event will take place in a digital format.
