The Senior Officials' Meeting is a preparatory meeting for the EU-US Ministerial meeting to be held later this year (date not yet determined). This meeting is a recurring event, organised under each Presidency of the Council, to exchange views on current issues of political and practical cooperation in the fields of justice and home affairs. Representatives of the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection and the Federal Ministry of the Interior will take part on the German side.
