From 17-18 September, the EASO Network for Resettlement and Humanitarian Admission, which was newly founded in January 2020, will hold its second network meeting (remotely) with the competent division M3 of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community (BMI).
The meeting will provide an opportunity for exchange among all member states on general issues related to resettlement and humanitarian admission (e.g. experience-sharing regarding certain countries of first admission) and on current challenges (e.g. COVID-19).
Another agenda item is improved cooperation with various partners (e.g. UNHCR) in various areas (e.g. coordination of missions' times and countries of operation).
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, two remote meetings will be held on 17 and 18 September instead of the originally planned face-to-face meeting in Berlin.
