The Monitoring Committee is the governing body of URBACT, a European programme for sustainable and integrated urban development. URBACT promotes the pan-European exchange of experience between cities and helps them in managing local economic, social and climate-policy challenges.
Cooperation between cities is organised in European networks. The Monitoring Committee decides which networks to support and develops the operational programme for the funding period 2021-2027.
