The expert meeting is intended to prepare the meeting of Directors-General scheduled for 20 October 2020. With regard to territorial cohesion, the latter meeting is intended to contribute to the process of revising the Territorial Agenda.
Agenda items submitted by Germany include cross-border territorial monitoring and structural transformation. The Urban Development Group (UDG) prepares the meeting of the Directors-General for Urban Development and the Informal Meeting of Ministers for Urban Development in Leipzig on 30 November 2020.
Priorities include updating the Leipzig Charter as a strategic framework for integrated urban development for the common good in the context of new conditions and further developing the Urban Agenda for the EU as an implementing document.
