Since face-to-face meetings will not yet be possible in July, the joint informal meeting of the TWP and COTER working parties, which is intended to be the kick-off event, will be held as a two-hour video conference. At the meeting, the goals for the term of the Council Presidency will be presented, accompanied by an initial overview of the priorities under Germany’s Presidency. Priorities include, in particular, violent right-wing extremism and terrorism and the “Gefährder” project (analysis of the different national systems to assess persons considered a potential threat and to create lists on the basis of such assessment in order to better understand the national systems and further improve operational cooperation).
