The Defence CIO Council brings together the Chief Information Officers of the Defence Ministries and representatives of the EU Military Staff to facilitate an exchange of knowledge at the political-strategic level and to identify necessary actions for the promotion of cyber defence capabilities and the digital transformation of EU member states’ armed forces. This format will be used for the first time during the Germany's Presidency of the Council of the EU.
