The Federal Foreign Office and the European External Action Service are joint hosts of the Informal Meeting of State Secretaries and Secretaries-General of the member states’ foreign ministries. The event takes place every six months, prior to the beginning of each new Council presidency. It is a good opportunity to introduce the priorities of the incoming presidency and to discuss important issues on the European agenda.
