The Working Group of Communications Professionals, or WGCP, was established in 2007 by the Heads of Medicines, or HMA, to actively shape and expand communications expertise across the network. To this end, the WGCP shares good practices, coordinates communications across the HMA network in a crisis and helps develop and improve the HMA’s website. In addition, it fosters professional communication between the HMA and its stakeholders - including patients, physicians, veterinarians, pharmaceutical industry, and other healthcare professionals - and the general public.
