The Clinical Trials Facilitation and Coordination Group, or CTFG, is a working group established by the Heads of Medicines Agencies. It provides the regulatory network for clinical trials in the EU and the European Economic Area. The CTFG promotes a common approach to clinical trials by developing, optimising and jointly coordinating processes, principles, recommendations and guidance.
The CTFG liaises with other European authorities as well as the European Medicines Agency.
