The EU Council Working Group on Human Rights, or COHOM, is a Brussels-based format where member states regularly meet to discuss human rights issues and to lay the groundwork for decisions on these. In the course of its Presidency of the Council of the European Union, every member state traditionally invites representatives of other member states to its country. The aim of this meeting is to foster exchange on human rights issues and to facilitate networking and mutual confidence-building.
