The Covid-19 crisis, climate change and digitalisation: the challenges the EU is facing are manifold. They cannot be mastered by any single Member State alone. We need to think about how to strengthen the European Union, both internally and as a global actor.
Focusing on essential policy areas, this Ideas Lab-style web conference will explore how a strengthening of structures at EU level and a (re-)prioritisation of EU spending can help to increase the value-added of EU policy action, and thereby provide European public goods. In the context of the EU Recovery Plan, a special focus will be on how Member States’ Recovery and Resilience Plans can help promote this agenda.
