A conference on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the environmental management verification scheme, EMAS, will take place on 29 September in Berlin. EMAS stands for Eco-Management and Audit Scheme of the EU. EMAS enables companies and other organisations to improve the efficiency of energy and materials, reduce adverse environmental impacts and environmental risks and increase legal certainty.
