The Standing Group on Indicators and Benchmarks in Education, or SGIB, is an advisory body for the European Commission. It deals with the following topics: Development of indicators and benchmarks in the areas of education and training, identification and selection of appropriate data sources and highlighting of data gaps, ensuring the comparability of indicators and benchmarks, presentation and interpretation of indicators and benchmarks in publications.
